I been saving a NOS original Parkpre PFR chain stay protector for over 8 years to fit onto my Parkpre Pro Image for when it is finally finished. I clean the chain stay with alcohol making sure it is spotless etc, take it off it's backing paper carefully line up the protector and apply it. To my horror it won't stick, it's lost it's stickyness, big dilema, this is the very last bit to go on the bike.
Think about it over night, the solutions to these sort of problems normally come to me around 4 in the morning, :idea: double sided carpet tape! :idea:
Lay the protector on the tape sticky side to sticky side, cut around the edge and remove the backing tape, apply to bike and Bobs your Mothers brother. Worked a treat.
