Few threads recently have mentioned UK built bikes and whether folks would or wouldn't buy them or if it makes any difference. I could be wrong but I think this is the only British built production steel frame going, so the question is would you pay for it? £899(basic) for a British built fillet brazed Columbus tubed bike. And is the British built thing important, or a selling point at all?

My first reaction was no, you're almost into Ti territory at that price... And for once I might be right, Ego Ti starts at £1,130.

I'm thinking the small difference in price between Ti and steel highlights how much of the cost is the actual labour involved?

Anyway, if I had roughly a grand to spend on frame, then yes, their Ti frame would be in the picture. I think I'd have trouble dropping £900 on a steel frame though.
