Hi all,

Looking for a early eighties style cup & cone BB for my Holdsworth Nuovo record.

115 or 116mm ISO square taper to match Gipiemme Sprint Chainset.

Cheers

Re:

Hi Shaun - thanks for response.

I've been running a 112mm Gipiemme Sprint BB - which is now dead! I checked on velobase for compatability with my Gipiemme Sprint cranks and they stipulate 115mm?!

When I stripped it all down I did find that the inner chainring has been catching the chain stay slightly.

So frankly I don't really know - I thought 115mm approx would work?

I would have thought a standard asymmetric 112 mm campag double would have done the job, have you got a link to the velobase page?

Shimano low profile JIS would also be on the radar at 112mm

Re:

Hi Shaun,

I stand corrected - I actually need a 113mm long BB, I was looking at crono sprint instead of dual sprint.

So, anyone with 113mm BB - drop me a line.

Cheers

Have a google about when campag changed their axles to accommodate the different cranks and rounded lip on the front mech. The axles sprouted 1.5mm to 113.5 i think and they lost the "120" markings.

One of them should do.

Shaun
