Cracking pictures Ken really love the sunset one, has shifting that 4kg made a big difference ?

Surprisingly little difference yesterday - I was knackered after what was a day with relatively little climbing... although it may be something to do with the stinking cold I now have.

Glasgow-Ballachulish the day before was definitely easier even at 100 miles vs 81 with almost identical total ascent.

Today, at 52.5 miles in, I hit 1000 miles for the trip!

I hear its been a scorcher up there today mate hope you've had a good day last one tomorrow eh all the best.

Re:

Was sunny and warmish on the East coast today... not as sweaty as yesterday!

Bit of a headwind for most of the ride and quite a few nob ends in cars, but overall a good day.

Passing 1000 miles felt good...really good.

Pics later.

Jesus Christ

I’ve missed most of this thead and only arrived in time to witness the fat lady getting ready to go stage and start singing tomorrow

Gonna re-read all your posts, particularly the day I wanted to ride with you up through Cheddar and over the bridge.
Gonna have to give up this work thing .... it’s getting in the way of life !

So jealous of your adventure...

Ok...piccies from Friday the 13th, Inverness-Helmsdale

Job done.

Bit foggy and cold up North today... theres actually a great big lighthouse about 50 yards behind me in the photo!

If theres any decent pics from today, Ill put them up later.

Many thanks to Mr Jamie Dyer for taking the time to meet me for a coffee and ride a few miles as my wingman.

I'm off to get slightly drunk now.
