I have an almost full LX 563 groupset on its way via Royal Mail as we speak, managed to get an offer accepted on ebay.

I'm hoping to buy some LX cantis to finish the groupset, but this is what i have at the moment.

I have an nice set of wolber AT20 rims laced to LX hubs, with Wolber Chamoix tyres.

The frame itself has a braze on for an E-type front mech, but i don't intend to use it as i prefer the banded front mech.

Also this frame is designed to house the vee brakes, but again i intend to fit cantis on it.

I was about to post a few pics of the bike so far but they are terrible so i'll take a few tomorrow.

Thanks Cal!

Its going to have a couple of extra bits on it to accommodate the front mech and the rear canti as its a newer frame,so doesn't have a rear canti mount or a bolt hole for my incoming bottom pull LX front mech.
It has a braze on for an e-type front mech, but i prefer the look of the banded mechs.

As it stands as of today.

I have a un72 BB to fit as it just happens to be the right size according to the late but great Mr Sheldon Brown.

But i'll wait until the LX group arrives.

Postman arrived today. Like an expectant father I ran to the door, hoping to see a parcel in the posties hands.

Nothing but bloody letters!

The build has stalled!
