Hi Ed.

I know I'm just being lazy, but would you consider selling the disk adapter off the Proflex separately???

I'd be interested in a photo of the adapter for the rear shock too before you sell up. :D

If anyone has an 857 that's too small for them then I'd be buy this one, keep the back end and we could swap mainframes.

I love that Delta V...

How easy it is to service the headset? Is it a case of just buying new regular ball bearing or is a specialist part or requires specialist tools?

Damn my stumpy legs! Actually it's probably a good thing for my wallet...

Don't suppose you'd want to split the Risse? / swap for an ODS(/coil)? :)

In terms of changing the bearings I think it's relatively straightforward, servicing the headset - now that's a different matter!! :D

Ed,
The 857 sounds tempting but I need to extend my legs by about a foot!!!
Mrs752 wouldnt appreciate another purchase seeing as the last one I bought off you isnt quite finished yet!!
Might be off to the middle east for work shortly so all works may have to stop for a while!

 Ok, so to ask the question another way... Does the headset just need new bearings to remove the play or is there wear to the cups?

To be honest I've not opened it up to look. I think it's sealed bearings so I think they've just gone with age. Don't think cups are involved.
