ebay woes - advice sought

bloody buyers opened a dispute without even asking for a refund or anything - my auction clearly states 'No returns accepted' and no warranty is implied or given - yet people expect everything to be perfect on something thats 30 years old.

eBay is fast turning into a place for scammers, mobel ponces and big traders. The casual seller is getting scared off, I know I haven't sold anything for years despite being an early starter to auction sites. Used Yahoo auctions in the late 90's until it closed and I have been a member of eBay since April 2000.

Changed so much, hope it works out for you LGF, i'm not sure what advice I could offer.

my only advise would be when I was involved in a dispute its dragged on and on through emails and waiting on time schedules , I picked up the phone and rang them ...while on the phone they looked at the case and resolved it there and then ....took about 5 mins

That may backfire lgf,I sold a watermans pen and the guy said it got broke in the post, when I asked for it back he was reluctant and said he could use the parts,I said no pen no money and he sent it back, but it was broken into about 12 pieces and not the three he told me......liar me thinks,he stood on it when his plan backfired........good luck though :?

It appears my bluff worked - asked for the return of the player and instead got an apologetic email and revised feedback.

All he needs to do now is end the buyer dispute so my bloody paypal isnt frozen.
