Ebay watchers/bidders ratio

Got a pair of Merrell Refuge trainers on Evilbay...got 50 watchers :shock: ..I do understand that probably 5 people would be really interested..just cant believe i have got 50 watchers :shock: ..any other members here had similar..see pics below

My wife sell lots of stuff on ebay and always says watchers don't make buyers.

We went to see a motorbike for my son just before Christmas, the guy wanted too much money for it, we made an offer in cash but he was convinced he'd get a massive jump in the £400 asking price as he had 30 watchers on ebay. In the end there were 2 bids and it went for £420... and the buyer overpaid.

Totally agree..I have over 1300 pos 100% buying and selling..These are well priced to sell..I just couldnt believe it had so many watchers. I could understand if it was a rare car/watch :? I watch items using that system to gauge the price on to ask for when I sell.

At its height 64 watchers..6 bidders..so 10%..Went for £64.50..just shows{as we already know} watchers means bugger all

we all watch things for different reasons , mainly hoping for a bargain

Watchings fine but the bargains to be found go in the first minute.

Use the filters and have an ebay page permanently open. Then its just a case of occasionally refreshing the page to see whats listed.

Dont be afraid to message him direct with a polite offer :?

Never 'watched' anything myself, but I've saved the page and gone back after the sale has ended to check out if the item sold and how much for.
