the frame does look right but i'm not sure about the headset assembly, i thought they were all 1 1/4 but that fork/headset assembly looks smaller although it could have a reducer down to 1 1/8 i suppose

as a guide i paid 40 for a frame a while back and 150 for a elite limited edition frame including a royce bb and a u.s.e ti post, what i'm saying is, buy it for the frame but not the components cos they aren't right for it period wise and they don't look too good condition wise anyway.

My exact thinking, many thanks for confirming a few things too. This was one of the first bikes I REALLY REALLY wanted, and in team orange colours too, as opposed to the more dull (imo) silver.

The frame looks valid to me, although it's missing the decals from the stays that most of them had. I can't work out a pattern behind the top tube or down tube cable routing, either is valid (an example of each below). Oranges are so cheap, if you want the frame there's no reason to miss out on this one, surely?

Im sorry guys but is it me or does this 'O' not have the rectangulat shaped Power Stays ??? My Matt grey finish one I had back in the day were well obvious but this one appears to have round stays !!!

Yeah, something doesn't look right to me with that bike. Stay don't seem square and the 1 1/4 headset seems to be reduced somehow.

All my early 90's Oranges have had cable routing as per the pics above so something seems dodgy. Mind you, knowing Orange's policy of changing spec without warning it could be kosher. :?

for my two penneth it doesnt seem like an 'O',the non-square stays,the irregular headset size,its not ringing true with me either.
