eBay has gone too far protecting buyers in my opinion, and the small sellers will eventually move on and we'll be left with the power sellers selling cheap tat like a market stall. There are plenty of other auction sites gaining momentum. Things change, always do! Who would ever had thought that our British banks, the corner stone of our economy for a hundred years or more, would collapse, or even our car industry!
Yahoo was the Google of it's time before the latter came along and stole the formers thunder, there will be others. Friends reunited before Facebook. Netscape Navigator before Internet Explorer, but Firefox is built on Netscape code, so a bit of a comback there! There are plenty of examples throughout history, nothing is forvever!
