Ebay - How to leave negative feedback without receiving it?

Good afternoon

I recently bought an item on Ebay

After a week of it not arriving, I contact the vendor and after 5 days of negotiations I eventually get a refund.

I have had every excuse from my paypal account has been hacked, through I needed you to confirm my address to I have brain damage and I am waiting for my carer.

Eventually they admitted they wanted to cancel the transaction because the item sold too cheaply.

The Vendor became increasingly unpleasant and I want to leave appropriate negative feedback.

Can I do this in such away that they can't leave negative feedback on me or am I best to forget it?

Many thanks

sellers cant leave neg feedback any more. but i would consider a neutral feedback as you did get a refund in the end.

The seller can't leave negative feedback, you can though, make sure you show him for the turd he is.

Why neutral? Refund or not, he's not a happy bunny.Let the world know!

because he got a refund. spose thinking about it the seller was a bit of a plonker. do people actually care if a seller doesn't have 100% feedback? think i'd be wary but dont think it would completely stop me from buying.

I think you've every right to leave him negative feedback - if he didn't want to sell it cheaply, then he should have either set a higher start price, put a BIN ad, or not even tried to sell whatever it was. He took a risk, and lost. But you won fair and square, and following ebay's rules he is obliged to send you whatever you won, at whatever price you won it. if he doesn't like it, it's his problem. sending you a refund just because he didn't want to send the article does not, in my mind, make him worth even neutral feedback. as a seller, he can't give you negative feedback, although I have sometimes seen people leave a postive feedback, with a negative comment in block caps and asterisks to highlight it (hasn't happened to me!)

If this happens, ebay will remove their feedback, it is classed as abuse of the feedback system (hasn't happened to me either!)

So?

I would (and have) left negative feedback for sellers who decided they didn't want to sell me something after I'd won an auction.

I realise sellers no longer can - but if they could, wouldn't they leave negative feedback for buyers who changed their mind afterwards?

Think I was just basking in the glow of my pre med. If he was being a twunt then neg his ass from space. It's the only way to be sure.
