here's a very fine example of an (early) steel-edge

the main triangle is made of True Temper - so there are obviously 4 tubesets for the edge: Tange, True Temper and the 2 Easton sets

I doubt whether there are really four types though - surely this must mean that they changed their mind over using Tange Superlight after the 1993 catalogue went to press, and eventually used True Temper OX3 instead.

Mines even older than that one in that thread think mines late 1992 looking at them pivots both the Amp front fork and rear end have them U clips holding the together

The Edge is original apart from the stem & saddle barends but now has titanium raceface barends same style

Its nice to look at and ride sometimes, its a dark purple rear end just put some black tape on the stays as didnt want to scrap the original paint off on any rides or in storage
