Ebay; another "Kona" which isn't

Advertised as a Cindercone 2001. Crap colour and the giveaway canti stop on the seatstays which Kona never used. I wonder what it really is?

Don't know what it is :? but Kona did use seat stay canti stops but not in 2001

I've had a couple of 96/97 Lava Dome frames with seat stay canti stops

I'm struggling to remember a Kona with a canti stop/hanger. In my mind, in the canti age, they had a stop at the front of the top tube, the dog collar to take the cable around the seat tube directly to the brake. After that it was V brakes with a back stop, no hanger required.

Some generic mid 90's frame - still has a rear canti hanger so nowhere near as young as the seller makes out!
