EBAY: alpinestars ti-mega frame and ti fork. ENDING TONIGHT!

In best STW spoon bodge mode - I'd be temped to cut and shut with a length of carbon tube or rod bonded inside - a la C-26 or old Pace fork drop outs - I fixed a friends forks this way 8 year ago - and he still lives.

(Of course getting enough epoxy contact and overlap would be vital)

I suspect I'll get outbid though  again

chop both stays off at that point then bond some ally drop outs in the pipes? prolly get shot down in flames now for a stoopid idea

who ever wins this please for your own safety dont do the above!!

tricky one this as is said earlier you have to but the tubes in large ammounts to get exact id (inside dia) but you could get same od(outside dia) then match bore the to ends of tube to same as original tube and weld it in using the correct tig welding wire (insuring not to get too hot) if the area around the weld gets too hot (haz, heat affected zone) the tubes goosed am afraid also you need to have the inside filled with argon also(purge) same as stainless steel.

No no no no NOOOO!!! You're all wrong...

There's only one thing needed to make this frame as good as new.

BEHOLD!!
