E-stay mystery

I thought possibly a Rocky Mountain but there is a brace between the top tube and head tube which I havent seen on any RM.

Bargain bike for sure.

Think the frame is just a generic alloy e-stay though from around '96-'98 perhaps? My LBS at the time couldn't get rid of them quickly enough and was knocking them out for about £40 each.

that was my thought too , heffs popcorn blizzard or similar
 
I should add that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the e stays that my old lbs was selling off. In fact they were bloody nice. Very light too iirc :)
