I always thought they were Raleigh's top-end offering, the only really affordable Ti frames at the time. Obviously not in the same league as 'proper' Ti stuff, but the best frames in their price range.
 
I'm thinking how cool that green would look with a pair of RC30s. (And wishing I had some money.) :(

This is an early one.
 
Other than rear dropouts being solid on the early ones I'm not aware of any differences between this frame and the later Torus models.
Happy to be corrected mind.

I assume when you say 'proper' Ti stuff you mean Merlin, Litespeed etc?

What is the difference then between those frames and these Raleigh ones?
