How much did it sell for, if you don't mind me asking?

A nice round £100. Given the market for the UGLI forks I think it's a decent price. Though no current plans to sell them!

A very reasonable price, I think, considering the UGLIs and the (I assume) Ti handlebar that came as standard on that model. I myself had made an ebay offer for 115, but the seller turned it down.

The bar certainly looks like Ti - it looks like it's got a shim on the clamp section (I'm not sure if it's removable or permanently bonded/welded/etc to the bar), is that the one?

From what I've read after scouring the web for info on Raleigh UGLI forks, it seems they made 2 versions,

1. Alloy crown and dropouts, steel steerer and blades, with welded on circular canti bosses and a weight of approx. 900 grams

2. Alloy crown and dropouts, titanium blades, steerer? not sure (but I have a feeling they were steel), square folded sheet type canti bosses that were riveted in place and a weight of approx. 700- 750 grams

I haven't actually got my hands on a pair of either version to be 100% sure the above is totally accurate.

I think you got that information from something I posted a while ago.
I've owned both, the canti bosses on the ti one were machined aluminium, they were bonded and riveted in place.
The steerer was ti on the ti version also.

I might well have done matey, I did read everything I could find on a Google search.
ultrazenith says above, the steel version flex considerably under braking, I can only imagine the Ti version flexing even more? What was your experience Rampage?

Re:

Mine were NOS and I sold them without using them!
The other ti pair I had, the brake mount fell off in the car on the way home from collecting them! I'm not sure I used those ones either.

And here are a few snaps of the Dynatech before I left it for a couple of weeks...

Very nice! I think I should admit to being a little jealous, even if the bike is too small for me :)

My brother also had a Diablo STX from new, back in 1994, but within a year or so one of the UGLI brake bosses had got badly bent, despite not having had a particularly hard life. Raleigh kindly replaced the fork with a colour matched cro-mo spinner that, sadly, didn't look anywhere near as cool.
