I recently bought one of these in 104bcd 4-bolt pattern:

Its listed as being 44t - which I presumed indicated the biggest ring it would work with as a bash (as that's how bashrings are usually marketed isn't it?) but now I have it here (two weeks later) its clear that with the same diameter as a 44t ring its capacity is in fact 40t or 42t at a push.
Come with a set of XL bolts and spacers so you can fit it outboard of a chainrings, or just replace the outer ring with it.
Fitted then removed so as new.
Bit miffed at the seller (told me I should have bought a 48t guard for a 44t ring, how foolish of me) however the bashring itself is mighty fine! CNC machined and nice & lightweight. Seller offered me a refund but I'd have to pay postage and wait ages for my money so would rather just sell on here for...
