If I ever find a C-26 frame I'll be needing another set. Until then I've sold mine to PeteMcc as I've gone rigid on the FRO.

Joe - I can't help but think your forks look very, very long (exposed stanchions) compared to mine :? I get 25-30mm of travel and they were only built with 40mm max!

Tomac rode these forks at the worlds in Durango in 1990. A few sets were available in '91 and yes Answer started mass producing them late '91/early '92. I had them on my DBR Axis Pro race bikes.

Not exactly. I chatted up some of DB's former employees this winter, and Tomac and Juli got DB prototype forks before worlds. They say he made only three or so.

Earlier that season. Juli is still on Campy OR which was removed for the Worlds, but she has the DB fork.

You can see the difference with the vertical dropouts.

Hey Kev, ive just installed new elastomers and the original bolts and thats what they looked like..

Everything was nipped up, the inner legs might actually be Ti ill double check..

But they do go through their travel and yes i did think they looked long.. :?
