I have these up for sale on the Mcmahon ad..

However if anyone is interested in these awesome restored forks heres the story.

These are from a very small, limited batch of pre-Answer Racing MANITOU's..

They were handmade by Doug himself, and it shows..The machine work is great..

The brace is a carbon model by old company DGI..

Ive fitted new elastomers & seals to these and lubed with Prep M..

The steerer is for 1 inch h-tubes and is 6-3/4 inches long an threaded. These can easily be removed and replaced for longer ones.

i would like 150.00 UK pounds for these and i think this is a reasonable and fair price.. These are now sold... :D

Paypal or cheque

Original paint and lettering

The decals are not perfect but because they are original i left em alone..

These would be 90-91 :?: I reckon

These are from 91-92, the 1990 ones had the slimmer dropouts. Had it been 2 weeks ago I would have bitten your hand off for these to go with the Bradbury frame I bought, but it looks like I've got a set from Kev. If Kev changes his mind I'll probably have words with you. Out of interest haveyou got the original brace?

No brace im afraid

the original owner fitted the carbon brace from new...

These forks have never been used off-road

They were used for a road bike..

And that is all i know about them..I do remember the slimmer dropout

model but was that not 90? I seem to remember the ANSWER version

being produced around 92 :?:

absolutely, 92 was the cross over year. My Bradbury frame was 92, so I reckon 1990 was the slim drop outs, 91-92 were these fellas and 92 on were the answers. You'll have a pm shortly,

Pete
