Double U Brake Saracen Trekker 1989

Re:

First ride in a month due to a bad knee.. Took the trekker to Woodbury for a quick ten miler.

For fire roads and non technical riding such as that of Woodbury, this is a great bike. Also my only one rideable at the mo as I sold the modern recently and not got its replacement yet!

This is what happens when you forget the route... Six feet ferns!

Re:

I would call the Mayhem course pretty technical in parts.

Proper retro that one, an old bike that gets ridden.

Love it!

Yeah, Mayhem was good. Loved it, lucky with the weather though. Not sure the U brake would be such a wise choice in other years with the rain (as Makster proved!)

This has plenty of chips etc but does mean I don't have to be too precious about it. No point having it if it isn't being used!

Re:

Nice pictures of the old steed , pity someone dumped an old Mondeo up against it though !

I've actually got a cut up cardboard bike box in the back of my Golf , with a dark fleece blanket over the top . Back seats permanently down . It gives me two layers to stash underneath what you can see from outside of the car . 8) 8)
