Gave her a wash and put some summer tyres on - charge splashbacks as the front farmer john was nearly gone and the wonderdawg on teh back had two great big rips in the sidewall.
2.1s are a bit tight in the front as the wheel needs truing to fouls the U brake arch slightly.
Surprised how big they were considering. And might just be my feebleness but they seemed to be the tightest tyres I have put on a bike in years, nearly gave myself a hernia putting them on.
Will order some 1.9s sometime for it, ready for summer
1.8s are plenty big enough and if your out like myself then that 6 weeks not being able to get out on a bike will be a real killer and i love riding out in the snow although last time round i didn't fair to well on a patch of ice due to the tyres being to firm  ..
Not been used recently following a knee op, taken out few times in the last week as im building up muscle and have to take it easy. Hoping to use it as normal this winter.
