where does the law stand on this in the uk? in our sleepy little town the few cycle lanes are littered with parked cars and nothing ever seems to happen

Hell, I'd vote for him if he did that sort of thing!

Wonder if he fancies coming to Nottingham? We seem blighted by cars parked over cycle lanes, and also drivers not paying attention - good friend of mine was knocked off her bike yesterday by a car driver opening their door without looking (on to a very narrow road) car parked on yellow lines...!!

Certainly make them think twice. But then do car drivers that do that 'think'
