Does anyone know where to get one of these? V Brake Adapter

Howdy all,
Found this photo on MTBR in a thread about converting a Klein to V Brakes. Just wondering if anyone out there knows where it find this cool little part.

but why?

You can just miss the hanger and route the cable from the top-tube to a standard V-brake noodle.

you are surely just adding extra weight and friction.

or am I missing something?

Maybe something like this will do the same job, ?
Clamp with a nut and bolt to the noodle holder (may need to drill some holes )

Or why not run a straddle wire from the noodle holder through a hanger as you would a canti ? You get some silly braking power (i.e. very long arm cantis) and would need to use 'Canti lever area amounts of cable pull' levers.

Though you may as well just use standard Canti lever for both these setups for simplicity and a less bodged look

It's a Klien there is no top tube outer casing stop. Other methods are to drill the frame and route the cable all the way or strap it to the out side or mount some rear cable hanger backward to the seat Q/R to create a stop

I don't - see that is.

At the moment, the cable outer seems to stop in the canti hanger. I don't get why it couldn't just stop in the normal V-brake fashion.

I guess this method means it looks neater and doesn't leave the canti hanger redundant, but it hardly seems required - just perhaps more aesthetically pleasing?

there's no proper full-size cable outer in that photo - v-brakes need that to work

Cable that comes out of the frame is just a tiny teflon cable, just for guiding the inner and do not damage/scratch the frame.

Seen the part before, late Carsten had them as far as I remember correctly.
