I use Brabbin & Rudd in Bolton for anything like this (kid in sweet shop comes to mind!)

Any local engineers supplies shop would sort you out most likely.

Have you tried searching for m6 button heads. I've got them here, but any fixing shop will sell them. I would expect a set of 4 to be ooooooooh eeerrrrrr. 40p.

Use bzp rather than stainless, but tbh, your not really putting any great stress on them.

Easier to drill out if they snap.
Stainless is a great material but it has its place.

If you slightly over tighten stainless they snap
Also stainless Allen heads round off very easy
Always copper grease stainless fasteners especially if they are going into alloy

There's a firm well known in the Land Rover world who sell stainless bolt kits for all manner of things and one of their kits is for the towbar. No thanks
