I'm sure they're a lovely couple, but personally I'm planning a ride.

You and William, both on bikes.

If they want the press to leave them alone they could relinquish their position and pee off and work for a living.

Fact lewis......a sad fact......

might be changing abit under this government though....immigration is going to be looked into and hand outs are also being looked into and the fact that for years unintelligent people have been sitting on their backsides running up student debts and then refusing to work may also be getting sorted.....happy days :D

But we've got a royal wedding to take our minds of it and bring us all together. Hooray. It's like the 80s all over again, just not happy Retrobike-style nostalgia.

I'm getting sick of all the coverage, especially on the BBC news. I know it's state broadcasting but I wish they'd leave all the moron crap to Murdoch and Associated Newspapers.

The BBC's hands are tied, they are a notoriously lefty organisation and hence have blown all their (our) budget on absolute nonsense leaving no money left for anything worthwhile (like sport!).
Hence why the highlight of the BBC sporting calender is the boat race and, erm... comic relief?.
They have to go to town on something, so the Royal Wedding gets the full works.
Besides all that, the rest of the world does take (some) interest in these occasions and I have no problem with us showcasing our pomp and ceremony, Britain probably does it better than anyone in the world.

Dont forget that these occasions only tend to come around once every generation, and most reasonable people will take it on face value and sit back and enjoy the show. We dont have to 'bow down and serve' the Royal family, nor respect their freebie lifestyle, but personally I do respect history and the fact that many worthy causes benefit from such occasions and the royal's public interaction. Plus I respect human life and dont wish anyone to be 'burned', just becasue they were born into a fortunate position.

However, my opinion on human sacrifice could potentially be swayed if it were staunch socialists to be thrown to the lions...
