Do you talk to yourself?

I do, but I never used to and I wish I didn't. I don't see half as much wildlife as I used to.

Sometimes I think living on my own on a boat in the middle of nowhere has not been the best lifestyle choice I could have made. Spending too long alone isn't always good for you.

Welcome, by the way. 8)

I hear voices  one in particular that tells me to do things!

I should really delete the Paul McKenna self help tapes from my ipod

Don't get me wrong, it is great being able to do your own thing. But I do miss having people around sometimes, and it's fair to say a lot of narrowboaters are a bit eccentric.

Of course, the boat might be up for sale soon. So if you fancy a move....

When i was younger and getting into running, the general theory was that for general training, if you couldn't hold a conversation then you were going too hard... i ran alone... so used to talk to myself...
