Yep, they did.............forgot about them! The body had a 2mm or so high flange so the inner cog was screwed against something flat..

Looks like it's the 2nd sprpcket that so s all the work.
1 piggybacks inside 2, which screws on. All the rest are splined.

That's helpful. So do you start by removing the smallest pair or do yo work your way in starting with the smallest?

Had a go ... No joy. I'm guessing they are on very tight.
