I've thought about it, but it wouldn't be Tioga or Sugino anymore. To do this you would need to CNC or 3D copy the center pieces and the nipples. And I think it wouldn't be cheap to do it and I don't have the time either. With recovering or transforming, I think it is enough. There are already too many classic MTB parts replicated or reissued, let's leave the Disks alone

I don’t think it matters really if it’s tioga or not anymore only my thought. People love them and really want to use them it’s lovely what you’re doing which ever way it goes. It’s crazy.

After 16” and 26”, I had to make 29” for my ritchey. carbon rim and spectacular sound. I'm going to enjoy it a lot. I'm curious to see how many km it lasts!!

Tomac's sugino, I think, was also somewhat modified at some point. Tadashi commented on a photo on IG, saying that it wasn't the same. Anyway, it looks great too.

The Kevlar rope never stays stuck to the sheets, the ropes move. I use 3M clear spray glue. And once everything is compressed, I use a heat gun and a small roller. all at the same time for approximately 15 minutes. Sheet inside bag, vacuum cleaner on, heat gun and roller. Then I leave it inside the bag for a day.

Hi there i noticed quite many different 3m clear spray glues available with different strengths etc, do you have a recommendation which one to use?
