Disk brake adapter for non-disk frame

Hi all
I want to retrofit my 1994 Kona Cinder Cone with rear disk brake.
I've found the following possibilities :

Brake Therapy

Woodman

A2Z

On this MTBR page there's a lot of information.

Who here has already done the mod to a bike like mine ?
Wouldn't it be better to have the mounting tab properly welded ?

I've stuck (well bolted ) an A2Z on my Zaskar. Workds a treat and has not buggered up the frame needing to drill holes or weld.
OK, so not as good as welding on tabs.But are you really going to do that unless you are going to do the work yourself ?

Super Cycles do a woodman copy for £25, I'd go with that, better design than the A2Z
