It's an A2Z disc adaptor. It simply bolts on to the dropout with no modifications to the frame, so can be removed without harm.

Good BIN price, but the shipping kills it

Seeing it fitted, am rethinking the possibility of an A2Z adapter on one of my builds.. ..

Adapter actually look quite neat I suppose. But it is always a pig in a poke...

i have the adaptor fitted to my frame

I added a torsion bar, it works fine for me, only real issue is on this frame the dropouts don't line up well, meaning rear wheel removal requires removing the adaptor

i got it off ebay for £2 was part of another adaptor that was missing parts
