Anyone familiar with the brand "Dirt Research"?

Is the quality any good, riding experience?

It rings a littel tiny bell. A while ago I saw in an ebay shop some low priced parts from dirt research. Didn't look very special, but ok.
Like the Tioga parts as seatposts, stems and bars.
How can I decribe, it doesn't look cheap, but also doens't look special.
I looked nice to chear up my town racer.

I think they are a bit like Nuke Proof in that they used to make boutique parts and then fell on hard times and had their name slapped on anything. Seem to remember a few frames from them from the mid nineties, turneresque full sus and a nice steel one
