Difference between Exage Trail and Exage Mountain brakes

Hi,

Could anyone tell me what's the difference between Exage Country M250 brakes and Exage Trail M350 brakes?

I need to replace the Exage Trail brakes (corrosion on the nuts) on my bike but have seen M250 advertised as well.

theres very little difference - not enough to worry about

The nut to tighten up the brake cable has threaded due to corrosion/age.

For Cantis, there is very little difference bar colour and surface finish of the Country, Trail and Mountain (M400) brakes, they were all steel inners covered with plastic in either shiny black (country), matt black (trail) or matt grey (mountain) finish. The real step up was at mountain LX where they became alloy.
U-brakes, I have personally seen both plastic covered steel and alloy Mountain (M400) U brakes, the country and trail part would be plastic covered steel.

Is there any performance difference between plastic coated steel and aluminium brake levers / cantis?

Is street cred a measure of performance?

Brake pads and rim material will have the largest performance difference assuming they are setup the same.
