difference between a Zaskar and a "LE"

hello,who can tell me the difference between a normal Zaskar and a Zaskar LE? I have a 1996 Zaskar but i'm curious if it's a normal one or a LE.

How can I tell the diffirence between the 2?

There's a couple of things in this thread i think that might help.. Not sure how you tell if it's a butted back end however.

Yeah, I think it's going to be tough without two frames to compare. The LE has a butted rear triangle and was make in the US.
I don't think there is a great seal of difference visually (but I've only ever owned an LE so could be wrong).

Your best bet is the frame number, but again I don't know what you'd be looking for. :?

so it is not really easy to say wich is wich......??? than i can only tell off my Zaskar, that it is build in the US......

Is there a diference? I think LE was a only a component build designation. All original Zaskars were US made.

Yup. There's a difference. The standard Zaskar had a plain gauge rear end, the LE was butted.
