Diamondback frame - help with identification needed

Thanks for pointing me to the catalogues. After some digging, it appears to be a 1990 Ascent EX as shown here and here.

Very nice, but it looks like someone has replaced original Decals.
1990 had this interesting stripes or color blocks.
