I am unsure whether these belong in here or post '98 (so mods feel free to move!)? I put this set together as I had one of those, "yeah, I could build a bike around those v-brakes" :roll: well, I never did so I'm selling them! Very smart set, ideal for a late '90s Rockhopper... or something powdercoated white!?
- bike's worth of petrol blue anodized Dia-Compe Vc733 v-brakes
- pair Dia-Compe 'Direct Pull 7' 2-finger v-brake levers
- pair of brand new noodles & boots
The levers have really strong springs. I replaced the reach adjusters as the one missing when I bought them. The clamps have a few spots that could be touched up, the blades are gleaming. Don't think the barrel adjusters are OE but they match the brakes better than black or silver! The brakes themselves are clean, in good working order and ready to go - provided you have your own pads and mounting bolts!
