Anyone know what specs this BB conforms to, or what brand/model cranks it might be compatible with? It's a Syncros bottom bracket with English/ISO threading. I picked it up on ebay for nearly nothing.

What throws me is the width of the cups. I expected them to be just a tad wider than 73mm. But they're about 79.5mm and the cups are pressed in as far as they'll go inboard. Were they simply intended to 'hang out' of the BB shell by about 3mm on either side?

Also, judging by the weight (6 ounces), it appears to have a ti axle.

I would say it's a fairly old model that's made for 73mm BB shells and is meant to be used with lock rings which are obviously missing (73mm+3mm lockring+3mm lockring=79mm).
Nice find, might work with older Topline cranks or cranks with a wide Q-factor.

Yeah the Syncros BB's with the round pin spanner holes in the cups need lockrings. Oddly enough I found out that sourcing those lock rings is more challenging than one would think.

Thanks. Wonder if the lockings on the ol' m950 BB would work? They'd necessarily have the same threading. As I recall, one side was a bit wide though?

No matter. Just gonna toss it in the space BB bin any ways. Appreciate the info!
