Just need to dig out grass and find some soil.

Hmmm, if only there was a field nearby :|

You can dig the turf up and turn it over and lay it on top or bury it, produces good soil. Sometimes laying on top the grass will grow again so could lay it upside down to one side until deaded.

The answer to the original question is mail the admin, tell them to remove you (mention GDPR if you need to etc.)
There is/should be and option in the admin settings to remove a user.
