anyone got a fave?

im sick of mine going crazy for no reason, one minute doing say 20mph then for it to go to 75mph or something crazy.

im after something stem mounted, digital so no mixed signals etc and with temp feature and must be able to cope with harsh winters and all weather.....

GPS rather than SatNav, combined with SportTracks software it's great.
The cadence sensor allows it to be used with wheel and crank arm magnet if not in GPS mode. It doesn't do temp but does elevation.

The 205 does not pair up with heartrate/cadence sensors.

The 605 is the mapping 205, the 705 the mapping 305.

I have had quite a lot of bike computers over the years.

Cateye, some were poor giving the same symptoms as you describe, however my Strada is great, but no temperature reading on them

Both the ones I have with Temp readings are wired, but I'm fairly sure you can get the RSP (Raleigh) ones with temp that are wireless. The version I have is very easy to use, large screen & 2 buttons. it's on my Clockwork, dunno if you've seen it on the rides we've been on

Also have a Trek computer with temp guage, but it's damn old & dunno if they still do 'em

Sigma, Pain in the arse to set up, fiddly with 4 buttons, manual may as well be in hieroglyphs.

VDO were very good too, shame some tosser nicked the bike it was on.
