Love the great North, South divide of London Town!The north and south divide
Lived SE, SW and then West London. Ealing was north of the river, but clearly not North London.
Can't believe it's approaching 2 years since I left London and my life is more chaotic than ever!
Still getting used to being back in Wales and clueless to any divides that exist.
My mate is from south Wales - he isn’t too keen on those from north wales hehe!!Love the great North, South divide of London Town!

You know - 53 years born, living and working in London and I’ve never set foot in it! Even during my student days we used to joke that it’s called the isle of dogs cos of the level of women living there
but on a serious note I’ve never had the pleasureHaha!!! I had a feeling you were. Far too sophisticated to be a Hipster anywhere a littleClose!! I live in Hampton, which is in the Borough of Richmond - I can generally be found in my shed or riding something around the park or along the river

North of The River (Thames and not the Lee) with obvious open space around.
You may have ran into my Italian and Scapin riding mate @Jimmy2021 who rides almost daily around Richmond twickenham and the river (as he too lives around there )

GOG: A person from North Wales. It's a shortened form of "gogledd" (north) or "gogleddwr" (northerner).
HWNTW: A person from South Wales, used by those from North Wales. It comes from the Welsh word "hwnt," meaning "yonder" or "over there".
Us Welsh are very odd!
Amazing MTBing around South Wales, but I'm on the wrong side of the M4 (South) so not a huge amount on my doorstep, but somewhat better than Ealing!

If you see a mad mountain biker on a Scapin in parks, woodland and riversides in west London, that's me
