My trusty dawes synthesis, my do everything bike for the last couple of years (touring devon, campervanning, riding to work, many pub trips). Plenty of marks and dinks but it shines in the sun and still turns heads; circa 1992, 18" frame Reynolds 501 butted tubing, 3x9 gearing, coda expert wheelset, deore rear hub, shimano dynamo front hub, xt rear mech, deore shifters alivio chainset (kept on as it has a chainguard for riding in trousers), alivio cantis and alivio front mech. Schwalbe road cruiser tyres, selle saddle, aluminium northroad bars and alloy high rise stem. Also some cool reflective mudguards! Swift and nimble around town cruiser... or could be built into a capable and tasteful gravel/bike packing conversion like all the cool kids are doing as it can take wider tyres (up to 45mm i believe), loads of braze ons for racks etc. Just a nice all round bike. £115?
