any recommendations ?

a friend of mine was involved in an incident tonight.
2 bikers in front of him, hells angel types.
stopped at traffic lights, traffic lights turn green, bikers not moving.
beeps his horn to make them aware of his presence.
bikers still not moving, so he manouvers round them and carry on.
shortly after he is pursued by the same 2 bikers.
attempting to stop him.
he was sure they were not going to congratulate him on his skillful driving.
in the end one of the bikers swerved in front of him to try to stop him,
but ended up losing control and hitting the kerb.
talk about bad karma.

so i have decided i need a dash cam to have footage of idiots who
make the roads unsafe for everyone. and for insurance purposes.
any suggestions on good dash cams please.

I want to get one as well, like to hear everyone's suggestions. I often work with insurance adjusters and and attorneys and seeing what happens on the roads makes me think dash cams are a REALLY good idea.

Re:

Do an ebay search for an SJ4000. It's what I use. It's a GoPro copy.
You just need to buy a suckery thingy for the windscreen, as they're not included, as well as a memory card. Lots of fittings are included, I use mine on my bike helmet

Re:

I've had one in my car for a couple of years now, it's a Nextbase 202, got it from MotorWorld for about £50 or so :D

I vaguely remember someone telling me lidl have or are getting them in for £30 if memory serves? May be worth a look.
