Daryl Funk frame, anyone help me identify it?

Hi fellow bike geeks,

I've had this in the shed for a few years and after a clearout i rediscovered it lurking in a corner, excuse the abysmal parts fitted to it but that's what it came with when i bought it on ebay.

At the time i tried to email Daryl to find out more about it but i never received an answer so maybe someone on here will be able to shed some light.

I was going to post pics but it seems i need 5posts to my credit before i'm allowed to include images or url addresses in my posts.

I don't know the age but i do have this frame number from the bb shell A0904A1260

Wow!, cheers JeRkY.

Although i'm going to be subjected (well deserved i might add...) to a tirade of abuse for not removing the cheap n' nasty components and just posting a pic of the frame.

I'm wondering how you managed to get the top jockey wheel in line with the axle of the rear hub without putting the mech on upside down?

Ahh....well spotted rampage, the rear mech was wrapped up with a massive ball of strimmer line in the shed and needless to say all the components on the frame are gash and only fit for the bin so i just pulled the bike from the shed dragging a lawnmower and a deckchair along with it and the mech got pulled to one side.

I only bought the bike for the frame alone so i guess i'll strip it down at the weekend and bin the parts.

Hmmmmmm . . .

Not wishing to cause trouble and please mods feel free to delete if this is out of order, but I think I may have identified the mystery 'Funk' . I followed the recent 'for sale' thread - I'm a sucker for orange and tiny frames - but was a bit sceptical about the dropouts and the cable guides, and just spotted this while trawling eBay. The 'Funk' mech hanger does look remarkably similar . . . it's not just me is it?
