Guys, got a warning for you all. Stay away from this conman called danob1 real name Daniel O'Brien. He lives in Goredale Avenue in Manchester. I got in touch with him about 5 or 6 weeks ago on the forum about a set of F7 forks he was selling and paid him £30 paypal gift straight away. The alarm bells rang almost immediately when he was vague about when he intended to post. After numerous unanswered emails and over a week later he finally replied and insisted he'd posted the forks a week earlier ! Got in touch with my local collection office, no forks there. After more unanswered emails and 10 days later he kindly lets me know the P.O are returning the forks to him as undelivered ? He promises to get them to me asap.I wait and I wait and again, more blanked emails and another week goes by and finally he gets in touch to say the forks will be returned to him in another 3 days ! A month has passed by now and he's only 30 miles away from me and the forks should have arrived within a few days of me paying him. I finally decide to ask for a refund as I've lost patience with this waste of space and after more emails he agrees to pay me back when he gets paid ? That was 2 weeks ago and now he's not replying to my emails again. Looks like I'm not gonna get my £30 back, but my day will come, believe me ! Any of his mates on here read this, pass on a message for me. see you soon Daniel.Guys, don't buy or sell with him, he's a rip off artist. :x :x :x

Another tale where the moral is DON'T pay by paypal "gift". The clue's in the name... If necessary pay the charges or use bank transfer, which is what I am to do from now on. With the popularity of this site now, there's always going to be thieves who try this one on. Hope everyone either gets their gear or their money back.
