How'd you know the reserve and what is it plse? I guessed it would be high.

I asked the vendor. five hundred, he said.
Often they'll say - ebay charge if you set a high starting price (although I'm only familiar with business seller charges now) so the reserve is sometimes there to show the minimum you'll let it go for, rather than act as a shill.

Fab. Thanks, mine was a stupid question. I'm guessing at least £500 to restore each frame etc to reasonable quality. Steering well clear!

The paint might clean up ok, and it's original, but it's a bit of a guess from photos.
The price is under £200 for each "bike" - a great price... if you want all 3!
Unfortunately I think we are almost atcthe point where anything needing a proper repaint is not worth buying.

Whilst a lot of bikes are not worth buying to repaint they can still be worth buying to use if the price is right.

I reckon I'd take a punt on the light blue or green and red one as is for under £200, but I only want one, and I can't collect, and it would be risky!
