Damn otters

Otter are big buggers and other than man they've had no natural preditors since we killed the last wolves in Britain. Like all heavy mammals they have large appetites so releasing them into ecosystems which either have a finite food supply- like a moat- or a limited supply like a small stream is cruel to the Otters and destructive to the other wildlife. Once they have cleaned out their food source they will either starve or more likely start roaming in search of food and probably get run over crossing roads.

Can't we just go back to talking about old bikes? Here is an interesting thread about the merits of running a cable along the tope tube.

Im sure otters have a place and purpoise, but im sad to hear about ancient carp dying, beautiful fish. Someone should have protected them before it was too late. Perhaps they could Roe their boat into the lake and Batter them with thier oars?
