any cctv coverage on this area..if you have an internal email system..send everybody an email telling them about the accident...this MIGHT jolt a certain persons concience

yeah, if there is a mark or your sure it was his car

It doesn't sound too hopeful if he is like you suggest.

You should have taken pics at the time you noticed it, or there is no real evidence that anything caught on CCTV caused the damage.

Have you popped in to get an estimate for the repair?

went to see him when i got to work.

as expected he denied all knowledge and started going on about how he is a Romany and if he did it it would be a matter of honour to tell me etc.

i said i didn't believe him, it descended into a bit of a slanging match to be honest.

i can only think he did it but didn't know he did it.

either way i will eventually have to get it sorted. hopefully it won't be too bad once i have polished the mark off then i can see how bad the crease is.
