Yes went out on myroad bike for 2 hours yesturday weather was nice I felt good so road till it got dark, 6 hours after i went out.

Managed 3hrs on the road today with local club(training for the cross season),2hrs road interval session yesterday,so pretty rubbish ride enjoyment wise but will hopefully make racing more enjoyable in a few weeks.Ridden at Dalby a few times this year,if you haven't been defo worth a visit.

Was at at Dalby b4 Sunrise on Sunday, with my GF, before all the trails got busy, watched the Sun come up over the mist shrouded trees, then shredded for 6 hours. Fandabbydozy! But is it me or are the Switchbacks and dropoff run outs, getting a bit sketchy and in need of clearing all the big cobbles off? As you said, landing on bed of 5/7 inch loose cobbles would wreck most retro steeds quick style?
Only saw 3 other bikers until we got back to the Cafe early afternoon, (Blueberry muffins Mmmmm) Car Park was stuffed then, why don't folks get up in a morning? We were up at 5 & hit the trails well before 7. Forgot my camera though, :( sight of GF on her Pink GT threading her way down the Single track in the early morning mist with shafts of Sunlight just piercing the trees will live with me forever.
