I'm more interested to know what the impact of air and car pollution is (or isn't) on long term cyclists commuters i.e. me. I'll be investing in a mask next week as I've really noticed a deterioration over the last 3 or 4 months in and around London (south-east). I know they don't do too much, but I've got to try something.

Always remember the founder of Respro coming into the shop to hawk his product when he was getting ready to first launch it bitd. He went on about all the science of particulates, pollution, nerve damage etc and that he was gonna save the planet. Around a year later he pulls up outside with a brand new TVR, blips the throttle a few times and proceeds to agressively get us to buy more product !
