Having lost my Oakleys that I also used for driving (damn you alcohol!) I replaced them with some of the Kuota's with interchangeable lenses for about £15
I've worn them a few times and they are pretty good. Have a choice of mirrored or unmirrored amber lenses which tend to be my preference. Not really a patch on the Oakleys, but there you go.
I tend not to wear any eye protection except when I'm scouting new routes through forestry (where there are lots of pointy branches) - then I wear a pair of those Bolle safety glasses (like above). I wear them for trail building and clearing too.
There's so much choice out there.........just pick a price point and go for it!
Another fan of photo-chromics here though. One pair of spex, day or night , rain or shine. Fit and forget. The ones I use are BBB, but there's eco priced options from Specialized, Tifosi and probably a lot of others.
Joking aside, I usually don't wear glasses.
I have a scar in my eyebrow as a result of broken cycling glasses, and everyone reckons I could have lost my eye if it weren't for the glasses already moving upward when they broke.
